Rapid Access Addiction Clinics provide support for people who are ready to change how they're using substances.

Provides virtual rapid access to addiction medicine specialists to support people who need help with substance use including prescribing opioid agonist treatment and medical support in reducing cravings for alcohol.

Provides clinical care guidance and training programs for all health care professionals in the province who are treating opioid use disorder and are prescribing medication such as buprenorphine/naloxone, methadone, slow-release oral morphine, and injectable opioid agonist treatment.

The program also maintains a province-wide directory of opioid agonist treatment clinics accepting new patients, and makes recommendations to Health Canada regarding health professionals wishing to obtain authorization to prescribe methadone for opioid addiction.

Provides an online listing of support groups available in BC for men and women in need of support with their marijuana addiction. Twelve Steps of recovery and Twelve Traditions are used for knowledge and wisdom.

Provides specialized inpatient treatment and recovery services for adults in BC with concurrent disorder; a combination of a severe mental illness and substance use disorder. The centre also includes research, education, virtual health, and teaching spaces.

Clients receive trauma-informed, culturally safe care that focuses on mental and physical wellness as well as support with their recovery and healing journey so they can gradually transition to care in their home community.

Provides transitional housing units to people in recovery from problematic substance use. Offers support services to help manage individual's addictions needs in preparation for long-term housing as a sustainable option. The 18-month program ensures that affordable housing and support services are available to individuals in recovery once they have completed detox and support recovery programs. Provides an online listing of addiction recovery support groups to help people recover from all types of addiction and addictive behaviours including drug abuse, gambling addiction, prescription drugs, sexual addiction, and alcohol abuse. Groups are available in communities throughout BC or online.

Offers a four-month young men and six-month young women residential treatment program for youth with substance use issues. Participants live with family caregivers in the community who support and reinforce what the youth learn while they receive day, evening and weekend programming at a treatment centre.

The program includes individual and group counselling, harm reduction strategies, substance use awareness, parent-teen mediation, teacher-supervised education, recreational activities, and practical life-skills. Access is province-wide.

Provides outpatient individual, youth, family and group counselling to help Indigenous people achieve a healthier and satisfying life free from alcohol and drug use. Services include crisis intervention counselling, follow-up and after-care treatment, wellness plans, and referrals to detox or treatment centres, education and or employment programs, and life-skills training.
