Provides multiple sclerosis (MS) information and support for anyone in BC by phone, email or chat. Online MS information is also available.
Topic areas include symptom management, treatment, living with MS, employment support, financial planning, MS research, and community programs and services.
Muscular Dystrophy Information and Support
Provides online and telephone information and education to those living with a neuromuscular disorder. Services include emotional and educational support, networking meetings, family and caregiver retreats, and referral to community resources.
PDLink Program
Offers peer support to people with Parkinson's and their carepartners by connecting them with someone who has had experiences similar to their own. Once paired, participants can communicate over the phone or by email. The program is helpful to those who do not live near a support group or who prefer one-to-one conversations.
Online Hearing Loss Mentoring Program
Offers a web-based peer mentoring program to help people manage their hearing loss in everyday life and increase their well-being. Mentors provide an ongoing relationship for support, guidance, and encouragement in a safe, nonjudgmental environment where issues are discussed, and goal-setting is encouraged.
Moving Forward Family Services
Counselling services for people who are not able to access private therapy for financial reasons and are not eligible for public services.
