Provides funding for eligible autism intervention services and therapies for children and youth. The funding helps families with the cost of purchasing autism intervention services to promote child's communication, social-emotional, academic, and functional life skills development.
Provincial Mental Health Metabolic Program
Provides management and care to children and youth who have both mental health and endocrinology concerns such as weight gain, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and or increase in insulin and blood sugar levels.
Team members provide specialized treatment including medical assessment, ongoing care, education, and lifestyle counselling including healthy eating, physical activity and stress management.

Helpline For Children
Provides a helpline for children and youth who feel scared, confused or unsafe or who are experiencing abuse at home, at school or in the community, and would like to talk with someone. The phone line is available day and night and you do not have to give your name.
Anyone concerned about the safety of a child or youth who they suspect is being abused or neglected, can call child protection services to report their concerns.
Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Emergency Unit
Provides short-stay crisis care for children and youth from BC and the Yukon Territories, who are experiencing acute mental health challenges. An interdisciplinary team provides emergency assessments and stabilization, diagnostic tests and procedures, and treatment planning.
The CAPE unit accepts patients by direct physician-to-physician referral only. If a child is in crisis, please access your closest local emergency department by presenting directly to hospital or calling 9-1-1.

Provides online information and access to specialized support for youth, young adults and their families. Mindful Awareness and Resilience Skills for Adolescents
Offers a training program to teach youth mindfulness skills to help cope with mental health issues including depressive and anxiety symptoms, chronic pain and chronic stress. Sessions are currently offered using videoconference in a safe and respectful group environment.

Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre - Crossroads Care Program
Offers specialized services for youth at the centre who are having problems getting the care they need in the community. Services include individualized treatment plans, family meetings and or therapy, home visits, and care plans to help guide their care and treatment in their home community after discharge.

Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre - Response Program
Provides assessment, case planning and individualized support for youth with significant psychiatric and behavioural difficulties who need help with managing school, work, health, peer relationships, and family life. The program is offered to youth who are living onsite and to some who live in the Greater Vancouver area who can visit the campus for meetings or tasks.

Adolescent Health and Medicine
Provides assessment, clinical services, education and training to youth with complex health issues that are affecting their relationship with peers, school and or family life. Youth are helped to move towards a healthy adulthood through setting goals, finding resources, and better health and wellbeing.
Topic areas include friendships, sexuality, home life, drugs, mood and worries, sleep, eating, health conditions, school, and social challenges.

Maples Adolescent Treatment Centre - Dala Program
Provides residential treatment, assessment and intervention for fragile youth with symptoms like depression, anxiety, schizophrenia or other thought disorders. The program helps teens with improving their mental health, developing social and family support networks, and with learning life skills necessary to enhance their quality of life.
