Métis Community Programs and Services
Provides information on culturally relevant health, social and economic programs and services for Métis chartered communities and Métis people; undertakes an advocacy, coordination and policy-making role on behalf of Métis people. Also provides Regional Mental Health Navigators to support access to mental health and substance use resources.
Acts to protect and preserve Métis history, promote and develop Métis culture, ensure Métis rights are understood and protected, and helps coordinate and facilitate local activities of Métis communities.

Métis Crisis Line
Operates a 24-hour crisis line for Métis people of all ages throughout BC. Services include risk assessments, safety monitoring, connection to local Métis chartered communities and service providers.
Positive Mental Health Toolkit
Provides an online tool kit to promote positive mental health perspectives and practices in the school environment. The kit serves to strengthen student engagement and academic functioning, while addressing key relationship concerns such as the prevention of bullying and oppositional behaviours and attitudes.
Topic areas include: components of positive mental health, social and physical environments, stages of change, teaching and learning, steps in implementation, and healthy school policy.
Eating Disorders Support Meetings
Provides an online listing of support groups available in BC, as well as online information and resources, to support individuals with their recovery from an eating disorder.
Telephone and internet meetings are also available. Twelve Steps of recovery are used for knowledge and wisdom.
Online Information and Resources
Provides online information, tools, and strategies to help young people and families find the mental health and substance use support they need. Offers apps, wellness tips, workbooks and self-check, web links, strategies for supporting others, and connections to services online and in the community.
Topic areas include anxiety, body image and eating, drugs and other substances, alcohol, low mood and depression, questioning reality, and stress.
Foundry Virtual
Provides access to virtual services through an app and web portal for youth and their caregivers in BC. Services are free and confidential.
Use the app to access same-day virtual services or schedule a virtual counselling appointment, find peer support, access primary care, join a group or workshop for youth or caregivers, or browse a library of tools and resources.
Groups and Workshops
Offers a variety of virtual groups and workshops for youth, young adults and their caregivers across BC. Groups vary throughout the year; support areas include substance use and recovery, LGBTQ2IA+ support, depression and anxiety, body image, caregiver support, and two-spirit healing.
9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline
Provides a confidential, 24-hour toll-free call and text crisis line for people who are feeling suicidal, are concerned for someone who might be suicidal, or for emotional support.
Trained responders will listen and provide support, and may also refer callers to their local crisis centre for additional resources and information.
Provincial Opioid Addiction Treatment Support Program
Provides clinical care guidance and training programs for all health care professionals in the province who are treating opioid use disorder and are prescribing medication such as buprenorphine/naloxone, methadone, slow-release oral morphine, and injectable opioid agonist treatment.
The program also maintains a province-wide directory of opioid agonist treatment clinics accepting new patients, and makes recommendations to Health Canada regarding health professionals wishing to obtain authorization to prescribe methadone for opioid addiction.
