Chimo Crisis Line - Richmond
Provides free, confidential emotional support and information to individuals in distress, crisis or who need someone to talk with. Professional volunteers are available by telephone or online chat.
Transition House
Provides emergency shelter for women and children in crisis from abusive situations. The transition house is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. A child and youth support worker is also available. Offers crisis support, women's and children's counselling, family support, community outreach, advocacy, and transportation for women and their children residing at the transition house. Toll free number operates as crisis line and intake point for transition home.
Keeping Connected Caregiver Telephone Support
Offers telephone support to family, friends and caregivers providing palliative care to a loved one. Trained volunteers provide a compassionate presence and a listening ear. Through regular phone contacts, volunteers offer caregivers an opportunity to share experiences and feelings around providing care to their loved one.

Provides telephone befriending, caring, and empathetic listening for people in moments of personal crisis or distress.
Peer Support Program - Northern BC
Offers in-person peer mentoring and a virtual peer group, to help people with spinal cord injuries and those with related disabilities, overcome the challenges of living with a disability. Peer events, weekly and monthly coffee groups are also available in some communities.

South Asian LGBTQ Support Services
Offers advocacy, education and counselling to LGBTQ south Asians, their friends, families and allies in the Greater Vancouver area. Services include outreach, volunteer opportunities, information and referral services.
Peer support includes groups for queer south Asian youth and friends; social group for south Asian lesbian, bisexual and trans women; and a group for queer south Asian men and friends.
Youth Counselling and Family Support
Provides counselling to young people between 12 - 25 years of age through the Youth Addictions Outreach Worker. Includes screening, assessment, ongoing treatment counselling and/or referrals to detox, and residential treatment resources. Additional services provided to the community include parent support, interactive school presentations and rapid response to school based incidents involving alcohol and other drugs and community consultations. Serves the Kamloops and Merritt communities.
Saferide
Provides a mobile response unit dedicated to providing safe transportation, within the healthcare system, for clients with alcohol and drug problems who are seeking relief from their addictions.
The program receives emergency and non-emergency shuttle requests from its partnering agencies including the Vancouver Police Department, Emergency Health Services, and the Vancouver Fire Department. Also works in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health and the City of Vancouver.
