Provides an online listing of support groups available in BC for men and women who need help with recovery from unhealthy eating habits such as anorexia and bulimia. Twelve Steps of recovery and Twelve Traditions are used for knowledge and wisdom.
Emotional Well-being Support Groups
Provides an online listing of support groups available in BC for individuals who have emotional challenges such as excessive anger, resentment, depression, grief, anxiety, and compulsive behaviours. Groups are offered online, by phone or in-person.
Crystal Meth Support Meetings
Provides an online listing of crystal meth support groups available in BC for those whom all drugs, specifically crystal meth, have become a problem. In-person and online meetings are available.
Survivors of Incest Support Groups
Provides an online listing of support groups available in BC for men and women in need of support with recovery from childhood sexual abuse. Meetings are available online and in-person.
Codependency Support Groups
Provides an online listing of support groups where men and women can come together and support each other with recovery from codependence. Group members are people who have been in relationships, as children and as adults, with individuals who are involved in addictive, compulsive or other dysfunctional behaviour.
MoodFx
Offers an interactive website to help people with depression monitor their symptoms and communicate with their doctor about how they are feeling.
Users are able to screen for symptoms of depression and anxiety, set reminders, track and monitor symptoms, view past results and progress, receive helpful tips, and save, print, or email copies of results to share with doctors or other care providers.
WalkAlong
Provides online information and resources for youth to assess and manage their mental health within a positive online community environment.
Features include: self-assessments for depression and anxiety; mental health trackers; mental illness and treatment information; self-help exercises; and the ability to share experiences and resources such as links, videos and artwork.
Open Mind
Offers online mental health tools and resources for youth, families, teachers and health care providers.
Resources include web links designed specifically for youth who have questions or concerns about their mental wellbeing, as well as a collection of websites containing resources and information to support friends, family and caregivers of youth who may be experiencing a mental health problem.
BC Health Information and Resources
Provides online information and resources to help BC residents stay informed about current public health concerns, issues and topics.
Health topics and resources include advance care planning, hearing loss, living with chronic illness, stroke, medical assistance in dying, preventing injury, environmental hazards, and healthy habits for life.
Indigenous Youth Wellness
Provides Indigenous youth wellness promotion and suicide prevention through online activities and training and in community based youth groups.
The Cuystwi program offers online wellness quests with themes on identity, culture, understanding colonization, tools to deal with racism, healthy relationships, and sexual health.
Also offers Ask Auntie - a girl-specific program with themes on identity, culture and connection, relationships and safety, wellness, body knowledge and body transitions, and healing.
