Chinese and Korean Help Lines
Provides confidential, culturally-sensitive telephone support, information and referral to the Korean community and Chinese community in both Cantonese and Mandarin. Trained volunteers provide emotional support and referrals to community resources that can help to address a wide range of life issues.
Substance use Publications and Resources
Provides a wide range of projects, reports, publications and initiatives aimed at providing all people in BC access to happier, healthier lives, whether using substance or not. Website offers a current list of active projects, facts and statistics, research bulletins, publications and resources.
Tool Kit for Active Living and Support
Offers a free information tool kit and six phone-based sessions, to help adults with chronic conditions, chronic pain or diabetes, manage their physical and emotional well-being.
The tool kit is mailed to the participants and they then meet in small groups by phone or computer audio. Those who wish to not participate in the phone calls can choose to have the tool kit mailed to them only.
Health Coach Program
Offers free, telephone-based coaching to support people living with chronic conditions to become better self-managers. Health coaches and participants are paired based on gender, age and or shared chronic health conditions.
Participants are supported with setting goals and actions to better manage their health, being motivated to start and maintain health-behaviour changes, and becoming more self-confident.
Ability411
Provides online information about assistive technologies and equipment to BC seniors, their family members, and care teams. Online resources include finding equipment, financial aid, free equipment loan programs, and equipment rentals. Web links to information and resources for health services, home and community care, telehealth, and caregiver support is also available.
Addiction Counselling and Detox Services
Provides outpatient individual, youth, family and group counselling to help Indigenous people achieve a healthier and satisfying life free from alcohol and drug use. Services include crisis intervention counselling, follow-up and after-care treatment, wellness plans, and referrals to detox or treatment centres, education and or employment programs, and life-skills training.

Indigenous Detox Support Workers
Provides support to Indigenous clients with the transition from withdrawal towards a drug-free lifestyle. Clients work with a support worker to create a client treatment and or aftercare plan that is suitable to their personal needs.
Plans typically include basic necessities such as food and shelter, and connecting clients to appropriate community services such as justice related services, traditional healing, residential treatment programs, day treatment, and support services. The program also includes client peer support and educational groups, on-going follow up, and connections to other services as needed.

Counselling Services
Provides individual, family and group counselling to families of children with a progressive, life-limiting illness. Services are offered on an outpatient basis and include music and play therapy, spiritual counselling, social work, bereavement counselling and follow-up and support for grief and loss.

VictimLink BC
Provides a toll-free, confidential, multilingual telephone service available across BC and Yukon. Offers information and referral services to all victims of crime and immediate crisis support to victims of family and sexual violence, including victims of human trafficking exploited for labour or sexual services.
Services include connecting with community, social, health, justice and government resources, such as community-based victim services, transition houses, counselling resources, and information about the justice system.
Alcohol and Drug Information and Referral Service
Provides a free, confidential phone service for people throughout BC needing help with any kind of substance use concern. Offers information and referral to education and prevention resources, support groups, and a full range of counselling and treatment services. Not a clinical service.
