Offers a residential treatment program for women and transgendered women with substance dependence, mental health concerns, and primary health-care needs. Treatment may include counselling, skill development, wellness, nutrition groups, chronic pain management, and group programs to address trauma, substance dependency, mental and physical health issues.

Drug Programs
Oversees and regulates quality assurance programs to ensure that physicians in the province are practising to professional standards. The Drug Program includes the Prescription Review Program, Methadone for Analgesia, and the Controlled Prescription Program. Physician Health Program
Provides confidential 24-hour support, referrals and counselling for physicians, medical students, resident doctors, retired physicians, partners and dependent children.
Areas of concern can include relationships, mental health issues, career and life transition, substance use, financial issues, professional support, and concern for colleagues.
Open Mind
Offers online mental health tools and resources for youth, families, teachers and health care providers.
Resources include web links designed specifically for youth who have questions or concerns about their mental wellbeing, as well as a collection of websites containing resources and information to support friends, family and caregivers of youth who may be experiencing a mental health problem.
Psychiatric Medication Plan
Provides coverage of certain psychiatric medications to individuals of any age who are registered with a mental health services centre and who demonstrate clinical and financial need. Eligible medications are listed in the Psychiatric Medication Plan (Plan G) formulary. Individual patient eligibility is verified by the patient's physician and the local Mental Health and Substance Use Centre, or if the patient is a minor, a Child and Youth Mental Health Centre. Registration is required.
8-1-1 Services
Provides people living in B.C. with 24-hour access to approved health information and detailed information on health care, mental health and substance use services throughout the province online and by telephone at 8-1-1.
By calling 8-1-1, you can speak to a health service navigator, who can help you find health information and services; or connect you directly with a registered nurse, a registered dietitian, a qualified exercise professional, or a pharmacist. Any one of these healthcare professionals will help you get the information you need to manage your health concerns, or those of your family.
Community Transition Teams
Provides care coordination and transitional support to individuals with substance use disorder and complex mental health needs who are leaving the 10 provincial correctional facilities in BC.
Service includes short-term access to primary care, psychiatric treatment, relapse management, counselling, opioid agonist therapy, and information and referral to mental health and substance use services in the community for up to 90 days.
Provincial Substance Use Treatment Program
Provides specialized addiction treatment in a supported home-like setting for adults in BC who need help with severe substance use. The program is approximately three months long and includes after-care support for up to a year following treatment.
The program includes assessment and stabilization, counselling, supportive treatment, medication therapy, peer support, life skills development, family programs, and education about mental illness and substance use.

Red Fish Healing Centre for Mental Health and Addiction
Provides specialized inpatient treatment and recovery services for adults in BC with concurrent disorder; a combination of a severe mental illness and substance use disorder. The centre also includes research, education, virtual health, and teaching spaces.
Clients receive trauma-informed, culturally safe care that focuses on mental and physical wellness as well as support with their recovery and healing journey so they can gradually transition to care in their home community.

Provides public ambulance service for emergencies, medical transportation, and out-of-hospital and inter-facility patient transfers, throughout BC. Transportation is also available for pediatric, neonatal and high-risk obstetrics patients.
