Confident Parents: Thriving Kids Anxiety Program
Provides a family-focused coaching service for parents of children with mild to moderate anxiety. The program helps parents build skills and strategies that strengthen their role as a parent and help with managing their child's anxiety symptoms.
The program includes short educational online videos supported by weekly telephone coaching sessions delivered at flexible times over 8 - 10 weeks to parents and caregivers across BC.
Confident Parents: Thriving Kids Behaviour Program
Provides a family-focused coaching service for parents of children with mild to moderate behavioural problems. Program sessions are held via telephone and parents are also provided with an accompanying manual which they work through with their coach.
Program focus includes: encouragement of positive behaviour; consequences for negative behaviour; monitoring of children's activities; problem solving; and positive involvement in children's interests, activities, and social development.
Eating Disorders Helpline
Offers telephone support to individuals wanting information about eating disorders, food and weight preoccupation, and or disordered eating. Trained support workers provide support, information, and referrals to professionals across Canada.
Hand in Hand Peer Support
Offers a peer support program that matches adults and older youth with a trained volunteer who provides compassionate, judgment-free support and listening during eating disorder recovery. Support is provided in-person or over video call.
The program supports individuals wherever they are in their unique recovery journey and, through the consistent and personalized support of a mentor, helps them to discover what they can achieve, as they are ready.
Eating Disorders Information and Resources
Offers online information for individuals who may be struggling with an eating disorder. Topics include eating disorders types and symptoms, body image, education, and awareness. Online resources include video training, presentations, blogs, volunteer support, and access to online support groups.
Food as Medicine
Offers group medical visits for adults wanting to understand and treat chronic inflammation, believed to be one of the root causes of pain and mood disorders. The group meets with a physician to investigate the causes of chronic inflammation and what can be done about it.
Each individual will have blood tests to assess for underlying imbalances and nutritional deficiencies that are contributing to illness. Supplements and medication will be prescribed as indicated. Participants will learn which foods cause harm to the body and how to use food as medicine.

Postpartum Telephone Support
Offers telephone counselling, postpartum support information and referrals to mothers, their partners, and families. Clients can call for initial intake to see if the services are a fit for them. Follow-up support based on the client's needs is also available.
SCI InfoLine
Provides comprehensive and current information for persons with spinal cord injuries and other physical disabilities by telephone. The Association collects and maintains current information about health programs, accessible housing, government benefits, equipment, transportation, recreation options, and many other resources available in the communities throughout BC.
Vision Mate
Provides one-to-one peer support to a person who is blind or partially sighted. Clients are matched with someone living in their community who has sight loss, for one or two hours a week, in the person's home or in the community.
Activities may include help with errands or with an outing or visit, reading, organizing around the home, and going for walk.
Community Outreach and Awareness
Provides information and referral, advocacy, community networking, mentorship, and public awareness to help those with vision loss in BC. Local chapters may also offer recreational and social activities, community education, and special events.
