Online Hearing Loss Mentoring Program
Offers a web-based peer mentoring program to help people manage their hearing loss in everyday life and increase their well-being. Mentors provide an ongoing relationship for support, guidance, and encouragement in a safe, nonjudgmental environment where issues are discussed, and goal-setting is encouraged.
Patient Services
Provides access to pediatric care for children in BC and the Yukon requiring medical attention for orthopedic and other pediatric specialities. Transportation, accommodation, and all associated medical treatment including follow-up, are provided at Shriners Hospitals for Children in Portland, Spokane and Montreal.
Indigenous Family Treatment Program
Offers a six-week residential program to help couples and families develop healthy relationships as they continue on their healing journey from addiction. Each client family lives in their own unit during their stay.
The program includes group counselling, traditional teachings and ceremonies, family play-time, child and youth counselling, and help with resolving trauma, parenting skills, anger management, communication skills, and relapse prevention. A student learning centre and daycare is available.

BC Bereavement Helpline
Provides a confidential telephone helpline to connect individuals with grief support services in BC. Trained volunteers provide emotional support, and information on bereavement support groups, agencies, peer-based support, and community events.
Suicide Grief Support
Offers a support group for individuals who have lost a loved one to suicide. Trained facilitators provide a safe, non-judgemental, compassionate environment where participants can share experiences, learn grief and mourning tools, and receive community connections, practical information and support. Provided in partnership with the BC Crisis Centre.
Bereaved Parent Support Group
Provides an online listing of support groups available throughout BC for families who have experienced the death of a child at any age, from any cause. Parents and their surviving children are supported through friendship, understanding, and grief education.
Rainbows Child Support Groups
Provides online information about support groups available in the community for children who have experienced a significant loss in their lives, either by death, separation, divorce, or any other painful transition.
Children have the opportunity to meet new friends who have shared similar experiences, learn to sort through and understand their grief, and come to a healthy acceptance of what has happened to their family.
Kaleidoscope
Provides information on group support programs available in the community for adults who have experienced recent or childhood loss in their lives either by death, divorce or any other painful transition.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Skills Groups
Offers a variety of virtual and in-person mental health skills training groups for adults and their caregivers with mild to moderate anxiety, depression, insomnia, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The groups teach practical tools to recognize, understand and manage patterns of feeling, thinking, and behaving for daily life to better manage stress and symptoms.
Groups are facilitated by trained physicians who uses strategies based on cognitive behavioural therapy such as mindfulness, emotion regulation and acceptance and commitment therapy.
Raising Resilient Kids Parenting Program
Offers a group-based program to help parents and caregivers to develop mindful parenting skills and strengthen caregiver-child relationships during early childhood. Topics include child development, mindfulness, attachment, and reflective parenting. The group is facilitated by trained physicians.
