Provides needle disposal information, resources and awareness for the Interior Health region. Sealed containers can be dropped off at all Interior Health mental health and substance use locations, primary care and public health offices.

Provides needle disposal information, resources and awareness for the Island Health region, as well as the steps to safely dispose of needles. Sealed containers can be dropped off at a community drop box, participating pharmacy, or local public health unit.
Youth Home Stabilization Program
Provides support to youth and their caregivers with managed substance use withdrawal and follow-up in a home environment. The program works with young people who are using substances and want to stop or significantly reduce the use of at least one substance.
Services include support through withdrawal, short-term family counselling and or mediation, home visits, cultural and spiritual supports, long-term treatment referrals, and harm reduction supplies. Access to opiate agonist therapy and primary care services are also available.
Mobile Overdose Prevention Service
Offers mobile street outreach and harm reduction supplies to individuals in Dawson Creek. A mobile vehicle travels to different areas of the city and provides basic nursing services and supports, supervised injection and safer drug injection supplies, naloxone and naloxone training, needle exchange, safer sex supplies, harm reduction education, and referrals to other substance use services.
Lighthouse Virtual Substance Use Care
Offers medical treatment and short-term stabilization for people who use substances. The program is a free, telephone-based clinic provided by a team of health professionals including addiction medicine doctors, nurses and social workers. Clients who need in-person assessment will be referred to an appropriate healthcare provider for care.

Rapid Access Addiction Clinics provide support for people who are ready to change how they're using substances.
Mobile Integrated Crisis Response Team - Kamloops
Provides emergency response to crisis calls related to mental health situations or crisis concerns in partnership with the RCMP and Interior Health.
A uniform RCMP member and a clinical nurse specializing in mental health, work together to help de-escalate situations, provide crisis intervention and connect people to community services and supports.
