9-8-8 Suicide Crisis Helpline
Provides a confidential, 24-hour toll-free call and text crisis line for people who are feeling suicidal, are concerned for someone who might be suicidal, or for emotional support.
Trained responders will listen and provide support, and may also refer callers to their local crisis centre for additional resources and information.
Provincial Opioid Addiction Treatment Support Program
Provides clinical care guidance and training programs for all health care professionals in the province who are treating opioid use disorder and are prescribing medication such as buprenorphine/naloxone, methadone, slow-release oral morphine, and injectable opioid agonist treatment.
The program also maintains a province-wide directory of opioid agonist treatment clinics accepting new patients, and makes recommendations to Health Canada regarding health professionals wishing to obtain authorization to prescribe methadone for opioid addiction.
Opioid Treatment Access Line
Provides confidential and same-day access to opioid agonist treatment medication for people throughout BC with opioid use disorder to prevent withdrawals, reduce cravings and the risk of overdoses.
People can call the access line to speak with a doctor or nurse over the phone who can prescribe the medication and offer connections to supports in the community.

Opioid agonist therapy fee coverage for people in B.C. with First Nations status, through the First Nations Health Authority.
