Participants live with family caregivers in the community who support and reinforce what the youth learn while they receive day, evening and weekend programming at a treatment centre.

The program includes individual and group counselling, harm reduction strategies, substance use awareness, parent-teen mediation, teacher-supervised education, recreational activities, and practical life-skills. Access is province-wide.

Key workers offer one-on-one support with goal setting, recovery planning, and relapse prevention.

After completing the first stage singles or parenting program, individuals can access the semi-independent program for supports to transition into independent living while pursuing work or school.
