BC Smoking Cessation Program
Helps eligible BC residents stop smoking or using other tobacco products, by covering the cost of nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) products or some of the cost of specific smoking cessation prescription drugs.
Prescription smoking cessation drugs are covered as benefits under PharmaCare. Non-prescription nicotine replacement therapy products are provided at no cost.
Gambling Support BC
Offers free information and support services for anyone in BC struggling with their own or a loved one's gambling. Support options include individual and group counselling, day-treatment and community outreach support.
Online information is also available including a self-assessment tool, information for family and friends, web links, and resources.

MyHEARTSMAP Mental Health Self-assessment Tool
Offers a digital online tool to help families, children and youth self-assess their mental health needs. Once the self-assessment is completed the tool will recommend appropriate resources. All information entered into the tool is erased after you leave it; no information is collected. You can download your report to discuss your resource needs with your health-care providers.
Community Transition Teams
Provides care coordination and transitional support to individuals with substance use disorder and complex mental health needs who are leaving the 10 provincial correctional facilities in BC.
Service includes short-term access to primary care, psychiatric treatment, relapse management, counselling, opioid agonist therapy, and information and referral to mental health and substance use services in the community for up to 90 days.
Healthy Schools BC
Brings together healthy schools information, products, programs and resources from across BC into a single website. Topic areas include programs and supports for the classroom, resources to support health and wellness promotion, and healthy schools stories.
Healthy Schools BC is a partnership between the Ministries of Health and Education, health authorities, education partners and stakeholders.
Provincial Youth and Young Adult Substance Use Treatment Program
Provides specialized addiction treatment in a supported home-like setting for youth and young adults in BC who need help with severe substance use. Once accepted into the program, youth will go through withdrawal management and detox before beginning treatment; stabilization services are not provided.
Treatment includes group, individual and family therapy as well as life-skills training, therapeutic recreational activities, and access to Indigenous Elders, recreation workers, teachers, and doctors.

Indian Residential Schools Resolution Health Support Program
Provides mental health and emotional support to former Indian Residential School students and their families before, during and after their participation in Settlement Agreement processes.
Services include counselling, cultural support such as ceremonies, prayers and traditional healing, access to Aboriginal mental health workers, and transportation assistance.
National Indian Residential School Crisis Line
Offers a 24-hour crisis line to former Indian residential school students and their families across Canada.
Opioid Treatment Access Line
Provides confidential and same-day access to opioid agonist treatment medication for people throughout BC with opioid use disorder to prevent withdrawals, reduce cravings and the risk of overdoses.
People can call the access line to speak with a doctor or nurse over the phone who can prescribe the medication and offer connections to supports in the community.
Métis Crisis Line
Operates a 24-hour crisis line for Métis people of all ages throughout BC. Services include risk assessments, safety monitoring, connection to local Métis chartered communities and service providers.
