Provides assessment and diagnosis of autism in children through a network of specialists and health care professionals across British Columbia.

Provides diagnostic services, neuropsychological assessment, consultation, and therapy for children and youth with acute and chronic medical conditions, mental health disorders, and psychiatric disorders.

Provides a fun and engaging web app for children to learn about stress, why it happens, how they react to it, and to develop healthy strategies to cope with stress in their everyday lives. The app can be used on any computer, tablet and with some smart phones.

Provides funding for eligible autism intervention services and therapies for children and youth. The funding helps families with the cost of purchasing autism intervention services to promote child's communication, social-emotional, academic, and functional life skills development.

Provides management and care to children and youth who have both mental health and endocrinology concerns such as weight gain, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and or increase in insulin and blood sugar levels.

Team members provide specialized treatment including medical assessment, ongoing care, education, and lifestyle counselling including healthy eating, physical activity and stress management.

Provides short-stay crisis care for children and youth from BC and the Yukon Territories, who are experiencing acute mental health challenges. An interdisciplinary team provides emergency assessments and stabilization, diagnostic tests and procedures, and treatment planning.

The CAPE unit accepts patients by direct physician-to-physician referral only. If a child is in crisis, please access your closest local emergency department by presenting directly to hospital or calling 9-1-1.

Provides online information and access to specialized support for youth, young adults and their families. Offers specialized services for youth at the centre who are having problems getting the care they need in the community. Services include individualized treatment plans, family meetings and or therapy, home visits, and care plans to help guide their care and treatment in their home community after discharge.

Provides assessment, case planning and individualized support for youth with significant psychiatric and behavioural difficulties who need help with managing school, work, health, peer relationships, and family life. The program is offered to youth who are living onsite and to some who live in the Greater Vancouver area who can visit the campus for meetings or tasks.
