Caregiver Support and Education
Provides support to family and friends caring for an adult with physical and or mental health issues. Services include one-to-one support, information and referral to community resources, support groups, help navigating the healthcare system, and caregiver education.

Support Circles
Offers group support to help parents, grandparents and others raising a family member's child to learn positive parenting by providing them with a safe atmosphere in which to share their stories and stresses, learn new skills, receive emotional support, and discover services and resources. Support circles are currently offered online.
Autism Service Dogs
Provides professionally trained dogs to children with autism and their families, at no cost to the family. Having an autism support dog can increase the safety and security of a child with moderate to profound autism. The program includes client in-home training.

Outreach Programs
Offers families living outside Metro Vancouver an opportunity to connect with sign language teachers, deaf and hard-of-hearing mentors, family support parents, and professionals who specialize in working with children who are deaf and hard-of-hearing. Services are provided in partnership with local community service providers.
Telehealth services are available for remote communities. Families are also welcome to visit the Surrey, Vancouver and Victoria centres to participate in available programs and activities.

Training and Workshops
Offers workshops for families and caregivers whose child or youth has been a patient in a psychiatric unit and is struggling with their mental health. Workshops are hosted online and facilitated by parents with lived experience.
Training workshops and monthly events are also available for parents, caregivers and young adults. Participants share their perspectives and learn from each other to better understand. Online resources and videos available to everyone are also available.
Online Peer Support Chats
Provides a safe, confidential space for individuals who are affected by an eating disorder or disordered eating, to chat online about their experiences and benefit from the empathy and understanding of their peers while avoiding sensitive subjects such as weight, dieting and specific eating disorder behaviours. There are 10 live chats per week and participants can join as many as they like.
YouthTalk Counselling
Provides confidential email counselling, information and referral for youth and young adults by a professional counsellor. In-person counselling sessions are also offered when needed.
Areas of support include anger management, alcohol and drug use, relationships, family and or school challenges, bullying, and depression.

Kids and Teens in Control
Offers online group support and education to children and youth who have a loved one with mental illness or substance use disorder. Participants share their experiences, ways to cope, self-care techniques, and learn about mental illness and skills to communicate with loved one.
Interior Region Family Navigator
Provides a toll-free phone line for parents and caregivers of children, youth, or dependent adults living in the interior of BC, who are unsure how to find mental health services, or information about mental health and substance use issues.
Navigators listen to concerns, find out what supports are needed, and then assist the caller in finding relevant, local community resources.
Strengthening Families Together
Provides a 10-session education program for family and friends of individuals with serious and persistent mental illnesses. Topic areas include medication and treatment, mental illness information, skill-building, concurrent disorders and addiction, schizophrenia, mood and anxiety disorders, coping as a family, and advocacy.
