Youth Mental Health Outreach
Okanagan Boys and Girls Clubs
Provides short-term mental health services to high-risk youth with psychiatric issues who are not willing or not able to access mainstream mental health services.
Mental health workers develop treatment plans, offer crisis intervention, provide assistance with medication including street or non-prescription drugs, and referrals to community mental health resources including physicians, child psychiatrists, and hospital services.
