Violence Prevention Program
YWCA Metro Vancouver
Provides individual and group counselling for women who experience violence in their relationships. Services include one-to-one and group support, information about the cycle and effects of abuse, advocacy, community outreach, and referrals to other YWCA programs and or community services.
The program also provides mobile support to meet women in their home or wherever they are most comfortable, and to Japanese-speaking women experiencing abuse from an intimate partner or homestay situation.
