Help Phone Lines

Offers programs and services to parents of youth participating in the Integrated Community Based Services for Youth program. Programs include effective parenting practices, conflict resolution, crisis management, parent-teen mediation, and group parenting programs. Parents learn problem-solving skills and discipline techniques to manage behaviour and reduce negative parent-youth interactions. Facilitator-led peer support group topics include conflict resolution techniques, effective communications skills, family strengthening, and relationship-building techniques. Programs also help to link participants to alternate community resources as required. Funded program.
