About

Description

Provides a point of entry for all adult mental health and substance use services for the Island Health region. Services are provided in a variety of settings including community clinics, hospitals, specialized settings, and on an outreach basis.

Services include confidential intake assessment, help with connecting to services such as counselling, short-term assessment and treatment, withdrawal management, and harm reduction services, and referrals to other community services. Some locations offer same-day intake assessment by walk-in or phone-in appointments.
