Help Phone Lines

Provides counselling services to families with children and youth who are experiencing crisis or challenges that threaten family stability, child safety and well-being. Client families are non-voluntary and are referred by the Ministry of Children and Family (MCFD).

Counsellors work with families and Ministry social workers to develop a home-based, intervention plan to prevent child out-of-home placement and reduce risk for child maltreatment.
