Hope for Wellness Help Line
Offers immediate mental health counselling and crisis intervention to all Indigenous peoples across Canada. Experienced and culturally competent counsellors can help those who wish to talk, are distressed, in crisis, or having strong emotional reactions and or painful memories. Online chat is also available.
First Nations Wellness
Offers online information, tips and resources to improve First Nations health and wellness. Topic areas include being active, healthy eating, mental wellness and substance use, spiritual health, environmental health and safety, primary care, and traditional wellness.
First Nations Treatment Centres
Provides an online listing of First Nation treatment centres in BC available to Indigenous males, females, youth and families. Services vary per location; offers a variety of cultural and clinical interventions and support including family treatment, couples counselling and services for pregnant women.
Virtual Substance Use and Psychiatry Service
Provides Indigenous people in BC access to specialists in addictions medicine and psychiatry through video conferencing or in a health centre or client's home.
Clients work with their care providers to choose a location for the appointments. Referral providers are encouraged to attend appointments to provide local knowledge for care planning and continued client support.
Métis Community Programs and Services
Provides information on culturally relevant health, social and economic programs and services for Métis chartered communities and Métis people; undertakes an advocacy, coordination and policy-making role on behalf of Métis people. Also provides Regional Mental Health Navigators to support access to mental health and substance use resources.
Acts to protect and preserve Métis history, promote and develop Métis culture, ensure Métis rights are understood and protected, and helps coordinate and facilitate local activities of Métis communities.

Provincial Substance Use Treatment Program
Provides specialized addiction treatment in a supported home-like setting for adults in BC who need help with severe substance use. The program is approximately three months long and includes after-care support for up to a year following treatment.
The program includes assessment and stabilization, counselling, supportive treatment, medication therapy, peer support, life skills development, family programs, and education about mental illness and substance use.

Aboriginal Homeless Outreach Program
Provides housing information and resources for anyone who is homeless or at risk of homelessness. Outreach workers come from Aboriginal, community-based organizations and are able to connect people and provide services from an Aboriginal perspective.
In both urban and rural regions of BC, outreach workers meet with people to listen to their housing and health needs, connect and or introduce them to required services, and try to match them with housing that's appropriate and available.

Indian Residential Schools Resolution Health Support Program
Provides mental health, emotional and cultural support services to eligible former Indian Residential School students and their families throughout all phases of the Indian Residential School Settlement Agreement
