Provides a range of health services by phone or video call to help residents meet their everyday health care needs in order to stay healthy and prevent illness.

Call the clinic for concerns such as minor injuries and sprains, mild pain, skin rashes and infections, vomiting, diarrhea, asthma or shortness of breath, sore throat, and mental health or substance use support.

The clinic also provides COVID-19 assessments for those experiencing symptoms.

Provides transitional housing units to people in recovery from problematic substance use. Offers support services to help manage individual's addictions needs in preparation for long-term housing as a sustainable option. The 18-month program ensures that affordable housing and support services are available to individuals in recovery once they have completed detox and support recovery programs. Offered in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health and Fraser Health.

Provides an online listing of Take Home Naloxone sites for the Vancouver Coastal area, as well as information on overdose prevention, signs of overdose, and drug information.

Breast Cancer and Health Services

Island Health

Provides integrated breast health services throughout the Island Health region in partnership with the BC Cancer Agency, family doctors, specialists, and other community organizations.

Services include cancer care, mammography services, counselling and support programs, outpatient physiotherapy, and practical support.

Concurrent Disorders Program for Youth

Fraser Health

Provides assessments, case planning, counselling, referrals and information to youth in the Fraser Health region who are experiencing both substance use and mental health issues.

1st Step Mobile Treatment

Axis Family Resources

Offers an intensive combination of one week and four week treatment programs for adolescent males and females experiencing difficulties surrounding their substance use.

Program is provided in mobile community settings, and is facilitated by a counsellor in a group setting offering lectures, videos, and group therapy. Individual treatment goals are developed with each client addressing their unique challenges.

Community Living British Columbia

Provides multi-disciplinary, inpatient mental health services for referred individuals with a developmental disability and a concurrent mental illness, or behaviour issue. The centre provides specialized 24-hour care with length of stay between two weeks to three months.

The program includes psychiatric assessment, treatment plans, supported community outings, and recommendations for on-going support and care in an individual's home and community environments. The centre is designated as a tertiary care mental health service under the Mental Health Act.

Provides specialized inpatient treatment and recovery services for adults in BC with concurrent disorder; a combination of a severe mental illness and substance use disorder. The centre also includes research, education, virtual health, and teaching spaces.

Clients receive trauma-informed, culturally safe care that focuses on mental and physical wellness as well as support with their recovery and healing journey so they can gradually transition to care in their home community.

Provides a free, real-time text messaging service for anyone to receive toxic drug alerts or share information about toxic drugs in their community. This service is anonymous. People can get other information by text message, like where to find naloxone or how to get drugs tested.

Provided in partnership with the BC Health Authorities and community partners. Text the word JOIN to 253787 to get drug alerts in your region.
